Mark Joseph Loveland
Having a passion for fine foods, Executive Chef, Mark Loveland has a talent for creating the most magnificent array of
delectable cuisine. He has a knack for creating all types of artful dishes. Loveland has seen his personal cuisine develop over the years, traveling throughout the States and Europe studying the art of cuisine in many diverse cultures.
He was not satisfied with a status quo career, so he maintained a full time job while attending the Pennsylvania Institute of Culinary Arts as a full time student. Upon graduation, Loveland was named Sous Chef for the Marriott Corporation. Through the years he has occupied many positions within the Marriott Corporation, including Executive Chef, Catering Manager, Production Manager, Retail Sales Manager and General Manager.
In that time period, Loveland was named the Marriott International Eastern Regional Chef of the Year in 1989, was recognized in 1991 as Marriott International Outstanding Retail Operation. In 1992 Loveland set off to Europe for a six week program, teaching at the Centre International de Glion, Switzerland. He cherishes this rich experience and brought back many classical ideas to the States. Loveland has also made countless trips to the Culinary Institute of America, studying under many of the world renowned Master Chef’s.
In 2004, Chef Loveland opened Heavenly Catering. Although in its infancy, Heavenly Catering holds an appreciation for the small, common events, as well as the large extravagant ones.
